Royal Golf Club – The Royal Golf club is the oldest Golf club in Sri Lanka Established in 1880 also known as the Anderson Golf course. It is home to Sri Lanka Golf union. The governing body of Golf in Sri Lanka and maintains links with the the Royal and ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews in Scotland.
1880 nine gentlemen met at the Colombo club and held the first General meeting of the Colombo Golf Club. The competitive Trophy of the club dates backs to 1887 and in 1888 the Calcutta Golf club presented a silver Medal to the club, thus Calcutta Medal is a permanent challenge Medal to this day

Sigiriya rock Fortress – The Lion Rock Citadel, Sigiriya was the Royal Citadel of King Kasyapa who ruled in the 5th Century A.D. Moats, terrace gardens water gardens, fountain garden, boulder gardens, terrace gardens & Stone stairways. And the beautiful ancient frescos of heavenly maidens in a pocket of the rock, On the top of rock are ruins of the palace & two intact man-made pools of water, thereafter proceed to Matale spice gardens where you could observe the how Sri Lankan spices growing and using for medical treatments

The highlight of the Plains is the terrific escarpment, The World’s End, 3kms working trail from Horton plain, which drops vertically for about 700m.
